ENGAGE is a participatory staff engagement model designed to promote the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices in hospitals and primary care. Recognizing that behavior and attitudes influence both the uptake and impact of green solutions, ENGAGE fosters awareness, gathers staff-driven ideas, and supports practical implementation of sustainability innovations. It includes a learning approach, a library of participatory methods, and training guidelines.
By involving health workers directly, ENGAGE empowers them as active contributors to the green transition, accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices in healthcare.
The ENGAGE soution is developed by our partner Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology.
