Our partner archipelago hosted the workshop “Future Life of Hospital Buildings” at its new Brussels office.

The event gathered a diverse group of stakeholders—architects, urban planners, developers, project owners, and sectoral experts—to address a critical question: how can we repurpose obsolete hospital buildings for new functions?

Participants explored the challenges and opportunities involved in hospital building conversion and collaborated to envision sustainable, mixed-use developments for these spaces. The workshop offered a platform for insightful dialogue and cross-sector collaboration, reinforcing CARING NATURE’s mission to drive sustainable innovation in healthcare infrastructure.

 

It was a great opportunity for our partners to present the CARING NATURE project and its objectives towards reducing the environmental impact of the healthcare sector, as well as gathering insights to advance the development of the COMPASS solution.
