The Department of Business Administration of the School of Administrative, Economic & Social Sciences, University of West Attica, participated in the framework of the European project entitled «ClimAte neutRal INitiatives for GrowiNg heAlTh and care Unmet Requirements – CARING NATURE», which is funded under the Horizon Europe (HE) program “Environmentally Sustainable and Climate Neutral Health and Care Systems” in the first «International Circular Economy Conference of the Hellenic Society for Circular Economy (HSCE)» held between September 11-4, in Crete, Greece.

The conference was attended by over 135 participants from 23 countries around the world, demonstrating the role of the circular economy internationally. Researchers from the University of West Attica participated with three presentations at the conference, under the supervision of Dr. Sepetis Anastasios, Assistant Professor of the Department of Business Administration and member of the Social Management Laboratory of the University of West Attica. The topics analyzed by the team from the University of West Attica were Sustainability, ESG (Environmental-Social-Governance) factors as well as Life Cycle Costing (LCC) in the Healthcare sector under the principles of the Circular Economy.
